I bought this truck for my father to restore and at 86 he feels like he is not up to it. I was helping him get it restored so he could take it to the local rod runs but he is not able to drive any longer. The body is in excellent condition with a black Matte Epoxy paint. It is the 5 window model with all good glass and rubber seals.The bottomhas no rust and was cleaned up and undercoated.We installed a 1972 remanufactured engine from Advance Auto Parts. It is still in warranty, has new starter, alternator, belts, radiator, reman carb, new universal wiring harness, battery, tires, aluminum fuel tank, all instruments are new and the speedo has not been hooked up so zero miles on odometer. Has excellent Prowler seats.We have more in it than we should have and it will make a great project that is near finishing. It drives good, starts easy, and by sitting on top of the front wheels it's really fun to drive. I have many more pictures and a video of it running. I can take more picturesor answer your questions. I have other projects and do not have time to finish it. It still needs some minor work like; hook up speedo, air filter, oil filler caps on valve cover, tie up the wiring, radio antenna, etc. We have driven it around the neighborhood but I believe it could be driven any distance to get it home. It is light and would trailer easily. I have a trailer and would consider helping deliver it within a reasonable distance for the expenses.
