Description of 1968 Ford Mustang California Special |
Absolutely beautiful example of a 1968 Ford Mustang California Special. I just bought it recently but unfortunately will not get to restore it, due to other investments that have come up. The interior is nice, as you can see in the pics. The 289 engines looks great and runs great. The Manual 3 speed Transmission shifts nice and I haven't had any issues with the clutch, even though I have not driven it that much. The brakes work. The stereo is great. What this car needs, is a little body work and paint. Or you can just drive it as is if you don't want a show car. It has all the original California Special features, trunk, quarter panel extensions, fog lights ..... It has nice period correct GT wheels, not sure if they are original or someone put them on after, I got the car with the wheels already there. Being from California there is no rust under the car. This would be an inexpensive way to into a ultra rare California Special. Please bid with confidence. Alsoplease pleasecome and check out the car for yourself or send someone to check it out. This car is almost 60 years old and not perfect. I have tried to describe it as well as I see it. I have set a really low reserve so that I don't give it away for free, but its very reasonable. Please send me as many e-mails as you want, I can send you more pictures or any other info that you might need. If your the winning bidder and for some reason you are not totally excited about the car, I will not require you to go through with the transaction, no hard feelings. I rather have the car go to someone that really knows its value and will love driving it. Finally, I have it advertised locally. |
