1975 Ford F-100 4x4. We bought this truck to use in land clearing operations. But it was too straight and too decent of shape to abuse it like that. It came from a guy who was going use it as a hunting vehicle (that is why it is in camo) but he never did, sold it to me instead. I've gathered up little pieces to return it to stock condition, like wheels, air cleaner. I have had it for about 2 years. 6 months ago I let it sit too long without starting it, gas went bad and stuck the intake valves and bent the push rods. So, it has a new gas tank, new fuel pump, carburetor re-built, valve job done by a machine shop here in town, new pushrods. It runs perfect! It is a central Texas truck, rust is minimal. Floor boards in corner by doors is the only major rust and you can see by pics, very easy fix. Body is fair straight, glass is all good, bed is solid. Now the bad stuff. Being from central Texas, the sun has cooked the dash pad. Instrument cluster cover has been removed because it fogged over, couldn't see gauges. Interior door panels disintegrated. Door window channels and rubber dry rotted out. Windows are hard to go up and down and rattle. Manual steering, standard transmission, drum brakes. It is all truck! Not the easiest thing to drive but is tough as nails. There are not many short bed 4x4s around. This is a great candidate for restoration or a rock crawler... It has after market bumpers and grill guard (see pics). Tailgate has rust but is usable and restore-able. It is very reliable but I wouldn't drive it across the country due to its age. So out of area buyers will need to have transport. Plates and inspection are expired. Title is clear and in my name. If you bid, please understand I will reject your bid for bad feedback or low bid history. Reserve is set at $2500.00. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thank you for viewing our auction.
