(1949) 239 flathead V-8, 3-speed Manual on column

An early 50s full-size 2-door (tudor) Ford sedan that during its life has been modified to be an “Old School” customized low-rider. The Ford is ready to be built to NEW owners delight, with a little LTC this customized Ford can become the talk at car shows or when seen cruizin’ down the strip.

Unfortunately, I do not have the time to work on this Ford and other vehicles and continue maintaining, driving & caring for my dreamy ’68 Torino GT convertible. Therefore I’m offering this 1953 Ford Customline Tudor Sedan and hopefully the right person sees the value in the car, as I do. I have a (Maryland titled - clear)

CUSTOMIZATION:

Louvered hood, Continental kit, Shaved door handles, Frenched In headlights, taillights & antennas, Dual rear antennas, Custom floating bar grille, Fake Spot lights, Fake Lake pipes, 4-inch white walls, Full length rear skirts, Tucked & rolled interior and Chrome headlights half shields.

UPGRADES IN PROGRESS:

Installation of new wiring, conversion to 12V neg. ground system and painting of interior metal trim.

WORK REQUIRED:

Rebuilding of engine or install newer engine such as a 302 (NOTE exhaust system does not have mufflers), Purchase & install new headliner, new carpet, Repair full length skirts to include clamps, Re-align both door wing windows, Either purchase/ install a 12-v radio or adapt 6-V radio to 12-V, purchase & Install remote electric door opening system for both front doors and re-paint exterior.
