1970 Ford Torino Cobra J code 429CJ,vin OR38J112278

This is a great fixer. It is a muscle car 1970 Torino Cobra, J code 429CJ, automatic, Shaker, buckets, console, tach(works well), rear windowdefogger(works) etc.

This car is highly optioned from the factory and came in what is probably the best color

available on these cars, Calypso Coral. This car has a429 Thunder jet with a mild Crane cam, it seems to run well. The engine does have the correct CJ valve covers,intake and exhaust manifolds so it looks very correct under the hood.

The radiator and shroud appear to becorrect although there is a slight crack in the shroud.The transmission is not the original but is a nice working C6.Therear end came with 3.50 gears from the factory but now has a 28 spline 4.11(guessing from driving impression) andtrack-lok.

The speedometer is now a ways off because of the gear change. Before considering this a reliable driver it needs a heater core,, some exhaust work and probably a gas tank.

This car has been driven around a little bit but is not yet a dailydriver. it was my intention to make it my summer project.

After I bought itI decided on a different Cobra 351 1971 car, so this one must go.The car is at my mechanic's shop, so need to set up viewing times. `
