I've known about this truck for several years, a close friend of mine that owns an off-road shop in Springfield Missouri built this truck for his dad. Truck started as a 1977 F-250 Ranger XLT with factory power steering, brakes, Air conditioning, cruise control; loaded up truck that was absolutely rust free with a 460!! A 1979 running gear was swapped out with the newer style Dana 44 front axle with disc brakes(not the old knuckle stylelike the Highboy's had). Overhauled standard bore 460 4bbl, Dana 60 rear, C6 automatic with a light shift kit, and NP205 transfer case. The gears are by Yukon, 4.10 ratio with Auburn limited slip. New steering box, ball joints,COMPLETE brakes, new custom drive shafts and ujoints. The owner of this truck wanted it to be a great daily driver even though it has less than 5,000 miles since everything was done. Body work was done by a highly reputable shop in Springfield in midnight blue metallic and white pearl clear coat. Truck was completely soda blasted and repainted, wet sanded and buffed to a beautiful shine. The paint shines and looks great with just a few minor blemishes but overall it's excellent. The XLT stainless trim is all in great shape, however it is original so there are a few spots where the black has rubbed off and faded in afew places but you have to be right up on the truck to notice. Again, rust free, all original body panels!! Interior is ORIGINAL and shows great, carpet is in nice shape, factory headliner, wood grain dash. Cruise works SOMETIMES, not sure why??

The truck has been parked in a barn for the last 1-2 years so when I got it we went through a few things: Brand new Skyjacker 4" suspension kit, drop pitman arm and Hydro 5000 shocks, new stainless steel gas tank, electric fuel pump, Fast EZ EFI system good for up to 500 HP! Tuned up the already strong and rebuilt 460, belts, radiator hoses, fresh coolant, oil change, battery, air filter, battery, 20" LRG custom wheels, new 35/12.50/20's to give it a more modern look (looks incredible!!!) front alignment, complete clean and detail of the truck inside, outside, and underneath, new back glass and seal, and converted the A/C to r134 Freon!

Truck runs and drives down the road at 65 nice and easy!! Drives straight and is a real JOY with the fuel injection! It's a $3,000 system but honestly I've got another one coming for my 1962 Impala SS 409 just because it's so much more DEPENDABLE and throttle response and starting is instantaneous!! You can leave it parked for weeks, turn the key and off you go!!!

You truck guys know what the truck market has done in the last few years, so be real on price and what it takes to actually build a truck of this caliber. This is a real deal low mileage truck that's been built right!!It's not a trailer queen! It's built to enjoy and drive, and if you want to pull a trailer with the ball in the bed go ahead! The owner usedit to haul classic tractors to the fair shows. All of that being said it will turn every head youpass!!

I sell almost every truck before the auction ends so call if you're a serious buyer, 573-683-3097. I always advise if you're close enough to come look and drive then do so, but we can always help you setup shipping and store the truck indoors until you setup something.
