This is an original Shelby number 706. Vehicle is originally lime gold with deluxe parchment interior and is an early inboard headlight car. Car is an older restoration, that was started in the 1980's but the owner ran out of money and has been in storage ever since. Vehicle had sheet metal repairs done at the time but due to long term improper storage some repairs will need to be redone . Repairs were done at the time with almost all NOS Ford sheet metal. Car is currently disassembled, but is mostly complete, the only major missing componants are the fiberglass hood, nose piece, and the original engine block, but the correct C7AE date coded heads are included and have been all redone with new valves and are ready to go. Other than those few items all the hard to find parts are there, the correct 31 spline "spec" rear, RUG-S 4spd trans w/serial # stamp, rear spring snubbers, magstar wheels, rollbar, shoulder harness and other seat belts, steering wheel, gauages, intake manifold and valve covers, and much much more. Car is located in northern New Jersey and is available for inspection almost any time. Seller opened to reasonable offers and reserves the right to end auction at any time because the car is also for sale locally.
