Up for your consideration is a 1963 Econoline Pickup Truck with a 6-cylinder 170 engine and 3-speed manual transmission. I have spent over $9,000 in mechanical repairs on this vehicle recently, including engine and transmission rebuild, all new wiring, new manifold, fuel pump, thermostat, distributor, battery, starter, and a new set of whitewall tires. The body is in need of attention, but still has good bones to work with. It's a cool old classic -- hard to find and very nostalgic old girl. I bought this because of my past history - I used to drive one of these trucks in the '60's back in the days when I owned a Ford dealership and we used this same exact vehicle for deliveries. Those fond memories were my motivation to buy this old fixer-upper, so I spent the money on the mechanical repairs, and then lost interest in spending more time and money to go any further with the body repair. I am now passing the baton to the next nostalgic soul who wants to take over where I have decided to leave off. This is a NO RESERVE auction, so the highest bidder will own it. Please only bid if you are a serious buyer, and keep in mind that you will be responsible for shipping, although I will be happy to assist you any way I can. Feel free to call if you have any questions. 305-304-3692. Thanks and happy bidding! NEW NOTE - MONDAY, 4/18: PICTURES OF UNDERBODY JUST POSTED -- hoping this shows everything you want to see. It is my intention to disclose everything so you know as much as you can about this vehicle. She is still in pretty good shape -- just needs some love and the right person to finish her out. Ready to go to her new home..... NEW NOTE - WED., 4/20: I added two pictures today of the doors. Doors are solid and in very good shape. The side panels are bubbling, but are not rusted through anywhere. There are no holes anywhere in the body -- just in the tailgate (as shown on the pictures). I am attempting to answer all questions in regard to the body condition and have posted as many pictures as I can! This is a 1963 truck. She needs attention, but it is very repairable. I am getting questions about whether she could be driven a long distance to get it home, and my answer is I DON'T KNOW.....it has been driven very little and only locally. Mechanically a lot of work has been done, but the truck has not been used or driven any distance. It gets started everyday, so it is in very good running condition. That's what I can tell you, and I am trying to be as honest as possible, but I have no way of knowing how she would handle on a long distance trip, so please understand that "it is what it is".....thanks and happy bidding......
