For sale - classic 1962 Ford F100 short body pick-up, style-side/Unibody. Truck is well on its way to being restored. Lots of newer components - good solid truck. Many original parts. Strong (modern) 351 Windsor engine with 4 barrel holley. Starts, runs and stops well. I drove it 200 miles without trouble when I bought it 2 years ago. Has run well since. Modern automatic transmission (on floor shifter). Newer tires (90+% tread) and classic hubs. Nice interior, good under carriage, perfect glass and good gaskets, solid floor and pans, many chromed engine components, and high quality exterior paint. Truck bed has been sprayed with durable bed liner material. Under carriage appears solid. No known leaks, or mechanical issues. Known problems: Some previous body work and rust that needs fixing in spots. The rust is mostly surface rust - no holes that I have seen. The body work previously done to truck seems to be cracking/ chipping in some places. The paint applied was of high quality - and has a nice high gloss finish. Turn signals aren't flashing and radio not currently working (could be fuse, as these were working previously). Manual steering, manual brakes, no air conditioning (was not added to this vehicle). These trucks often sell for more than $20K when fully restored, Reserve and Buy Now price are both set to enable fast sale. Buyer may pick up, or arrange shipping at their own expense. $500 deposit expected at close of auction. Cash and Certified check are only payment options I will accept for final settlement. Pick up of vehicle expected within a week of purchase.
