1966 FORD Mustang GT The car was purchased in November 2008, it was driven daily and mechanically good. The paint was terrible, it looked like they used a mop. The car was stripped down to bear metal . At that time the front fenders, rear quarter panels, hood, tires, front and rear valances were replaced with new ones. The pony seats were recovered and new carpet was purchased. The shop that was doing the work had repainted the car with base coat clear coat which needs to be buffed. The engine was also removed, taken totally apart with the intention to rebuild it. However, that did not happen and the shop closed before the car was complete. The driver's door was replaced before I purchased the car, so the data plate was missing. The car has many new parts which were purchased from C.J. Pony Parts in Harrisburg, PA. Some of the new parts not mentioned are; dual chrome mirrors, dual exhaust trumpets, exterior door handles and emblems, deluxe pony door panels, wood grain dash cluster, trunk mats, window weather stripping and sill plates. The car had a factory air conditioner and may need some components. All the windows have tinted glass except for the driver's side. The driver's door was replaced and it had clear window. The car has some rust on the front firewall which is visible upon inspection but not visible in the pictures. The wood grain glove box door is missing as well as the smaller chrome piece on one door panel. PLEASE check pictures. We are selling the garage and have moved to Florida. There are many additional parts that will go with this car including, another 4 barrel intake and carburetor, 66 and 67 grills, hub caps, luggage rack and aspare styled steel wheel.
