Description of 1954 Ford F-100 |
Please see the YouTube video of the truck in motion (Turn your sound on!): 1954 Ford F-100, partially completed project truck, would make a great rat rod or hot rod. Racing Head Service long block 350 Magnum engine, CompCams 270H cam, B&M TH-350 trans, GM front suspension (stubbed at firewall) for the improved ride of IFS, 10 bolt limited slip GM rear end, 4-wheel (GM) drum brakes. Manifold, carb, fuel pump, and water pump all Edelbrock, MSD distributor and coil, Griffin aluminum radiator. Ford Motorsports gauge set, poly fuel tank. All suspension and brakes were redone during restoration. Painless Wiring universal harness, RCI 5-point cam-lock harnesses, and lots of misc parts new in boxes. Roll bar for cab and extra steel tubing intended for upgraded front tilt framework. Steel forward tilting front end. Cab is in good shape, in black primer, remainder of body untouched. GM Steering column (~76 Firebird) completely rebuilt. Lots of original parts, extra set of doors. Also included is a couple cases of hot rod black primer, undercoating, sandpaper, supplies, etc. Windshield is separate, and contains a chip. Vent window assemblies are boxed, but no other glass. (all of this is readily available aftermarket) Truck runs and drives under it's own power, but is a little rough starting at the moment. Still needs some work to make it roadworthy. Vehicle is being sold for rebuilding and will not have a state safety inspection. We have a clean Missouri title to be delivered when the full payment clears (in-person if cash payment; express delivery if paying by cashier's check). No personal check's and no wire transfers. Garaged since 1994, and in a barn before that. Well over $10,000 invested in the truck, engine, trans, and parts. Hate to sell it, but we relocated out of state and don't have a place for it anymore. Sale is final, bidder is encouraged to request info for any questions prior to bidding. Additional photos and info available upon request. Seller reserves the right to cancel auction at any time. Bids from buyers with zero reviews may not be accepted. Only bids from U.S. buyers will be accepted. Buyer is responsible for pick-up of vehicle. Buyer is responsible for securing all parts and boxes, which are currently stacked loose in bed and cab. |
