Description of 1930 Ford Model A |
1930 Steel body coupe with fiberglass fenders and steel grill. It's titled as a 1930 Ford that says rebuild-salvage. It needs some cleaning. I bought it after it had been sitting in a garage for 10 years with limited use. I pulled it out, put in a new battery and cranked it up. It's a Chevy 350 four bolt main engine with a 6-71 blower supercharger, twin Edelbrock 650's, with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The dash is an old school wooden dash sold by "Wabbit" street rod parts. It has a CD player and power wipers. Email me a cellphone number if you'd like to see a video of the car running. I just did the following:-New MSD Billet Distributor-New MSD wires-New Billet K&N twin air cleaners-New Chrome alternator-New Water pump-New hoses-New MSD coil-New Battery-New plugs and oil-New chrome valve covers and valve gaskets-Flushed radiator-New Holley fuel regulator-Rebuilt both carbs with all new gaskets and internal components-New Billet air cleaners-Tires like brand new The car runs excellent and sounds excellent. It runs all day long at 180 degrees. I have it titled, registered and insured. It runs like a scolded cat! There are a few more things that need attention. It needs new rear shocks/coil-overs; they are weak and bottom out. As far as mechanics, only the rear coil overs/shocks need replaced. The motor doesn't smoke or leak, it sounds great. I have a video of the car running if you'd like me to text it to you. It has power windows, tilt steering, and power wipers. The car had heat, but I took the lines off and capped them. The heater is still under the dash if you want to hook it up. I strongly encourage you to see the car in person before bidding. It was built 20 years ago. The paint overall looks really nice; it's shiny with no swirls. The paint is beautiful. I'm located in Charleston, SC. Cash or cashier check at end of sale, NO PAYPAL, except $300 deposit due within 24 hours of close. I have it listed for sale locally and will end the auction if it sells. My buy now price is $25,000 firm I'm looking to sell it so I can purchase a 30-31 sedan to make into a street rod. If you'd like to purchase the car without the engine and tranny, send me an offer. I'd be willing to pull the motor and tranny if we can make and deal and you pay before I pull it. On Apr-18-16 at 18:42:14 PDT, seller added the following information: The car is dusty in the pics, I have not washed it. Questions? Please ask. |
