Description of 1967 Ford Mustang GT |
Fresh off a 2 year nut and bolt restoration, I'm offering up my real GT '67 390 Fastback Mustang. The restoration started with a fantastic car, produced in Ford's San Jose, California plant and lived its life in California before I purchased it. The restoration included a complete bare metal paint job (rare color that year), engine rebuild (rebored to .030 over), transmission rebuild, new brakes and rebuilt rear end. With a few very minor exceptions, this was a rust free car when we started and retains the vast majority of its original metal, glass and trim. Engine bay and under body were restored, detailed and painted to factory spec. No expense spared. This car is as if it just came off the production line. We kept everything as original as possible and replaced only what we had to. Full Elite Marti Report shows the car to be an original Silver Frost car with Black Interior and the following features: GT Equipment Group Four Speed Manual Transmission Limited Slip Differentail F70-14 Wide Oval Tires White Sidewall Nylon Tires Console Sport Deck Rear Seat AM/8 Track Stereo Radio Deluxe Seat Belts Closed Crankcase Emission System Exhaust Emission Control We added OE power steering and deluxe seats to the build. Original emission controls were not re-installed but will come with the car. Marti report shows this to be one of only 865 Mustangs painted silver frost in 1967 and one of only 494 with this exterior/interior color combination. Prior to restoration, the car had 85K miles. The odometer still shows the original mileage - but it has less than 100 miles since the restoration. A buyer can expect the car to be delivered with less than 86,000 miles on the odometer. Want a spectacular, rare, big block, four speed, real GT Mustang without the wait or pain of a restoration? - here it is. |
