1960 Ford F100. I bought this truck roughly 6 years from Alabama and had it shipped to Northwest Indiana. At the time I was looking specifically for a 1960 because I really wanted to customize it for a cruiser. This is my "forever" truck that I will regret selling one day. About the truck...It is a 223 straight 6. When I acquired it, the truck was a greyish primer color with no windows, no emblems, no mirrors, no matching wheels. It was a farm truck sitting on a farm. I customized the truck to my liking. I wanted to have something somewhat clean looking, but something ratty, but couldn't decide so I kept doing whatever came to mind whithout destroying its integrity. The negatives that I haven't gotten around to addressing are...The bed has a layer of diamond plate steel which trapped moisture and rusted it out in certain areas and this was definetely on my to do list but never got to fixing it. I chose to custom build a deck board bed cover that would look different from the rest of the wood bed trucks out there. The passenger side glass has a crack in it and I have replacement glass for it but never put it in because I always drove with the windows down. Im not too sure about the mileage and really dont think it only has 40k on it but you never know. The original tractor engine 223 runs great and the 3 on the tree shifts just fine. Mechanically the truck is solid and performs just fine especially with the clifford intake, carb, and headers I installed. This is not a show truck, but it does put on a show wherever I take it. It definetly draws attention wherever I go. It may not look perfect but I spent a lot of money and time to make it turn heads and it Is fun!!! Unfortunately I am finding that it sits in my old Firework shop garage and every summer tends to get in the way of my storage. I love the truck very much and had many plans to really customize it in the future, but I just don't know if or when that day will come. I store it so much that I forget I even have it. Its just time to move on. I put a lot of work into this truck and it would take forever for me to describe it all so if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. The best way to summarize is...Its a beautiful truck that looks awesome and runs great...yes someone else may want to give it some TLC, but it doesn't NEED it. Thank you, Rob (2one9)77six-133six.
