Description of 1932 Ford Roadster |
Beautifully restored full fender 1932 Ford Street Roadster, all original “Henry Ford Steel”. Same owner since 1960, the car was driven regularly until the mid '80's then put into dry storage until 2011. It has had a complete frame up restoration finished in 2014. Approximately 300 miles since the restoration was completed and is in excellent condition. The car is driven, but is in very close to "trailer queen" condition. The body work and 1956 Pontiac Bolero Red paint are beautiful. The adjustable glide seat is upholstered in saddle tan leather, the trunk is also finished. The cloth convertible top is brand new with a LeBaron Bonney stainless steel and oak frame. The top was installed by Justin from JS Custom Interiors of “Bitchin Rides” fame. Justin supported the top around the snaps to avoid pulling and did a fantastic job installing the top. The car can be seen in the background during several episodes. The car has a: ‘56 Chevy 265 with Corvette dual fours. ’39 Ford 3 speed transmission with Zephyr gears. ’40 Ford rear end, 3:78 gears. ’32 Henry Ford heavy axle, dropped, filled and chromed. ’40 Ford brakes, new hubs. Real ’53 Buick Skylark wire wheels. New 4 row aluminum radiator. 2” custom HPC exhaust with Hush Power stainless steel mufflers. Optima Battery. Enos wire panel, all 12V system. Hotronics turn signals. Beautiful custom dash with ’50 Ford gauges. Billet aluminum Banjo steering wheel with matching leather half wrap. Stainless Steel Drake headlight bar, dropped. Original style headlamps, cowl lamps, windshield posts, luggage rack, V8 grill emblem, front and rear license plate brackets and tail lamps. Drake running boards. This ’32 is an outstanding example of a well-crafted street rod. The workmanship and attention to detail is excellent. The entire suspension is either painted or chrome plated. Every modification has been made with safety and functionality in mind. The body work is flawless and the there are no blemishes in the body or paint work. The quality of the interior parallels the rest of the vehicle. The bottom of the car is as nice as the top. After listing the ad, I noticed the paint looks a little hazy where the sun hits it. This is absolutely not the case, it is just the quality of the pictures. The car is sold as is, no warranty. Interested buyers can contact Wink or Sherry at 801-276-2007 or 801-309-7329. They will be happy to answer all questions, or make an appointment to show you the car. Serious inquiries only. $1000 non refundable deposit required within 24 hours of the end of the auction, the balance is due within 7 days. |
