First time offered. The builder's own Resto -o- Mod Mustang convertible. I have owned this car sense March of 1999 . nd finished it in Feb. 2010. and have only put 8. 00 miles on it. Mechanical :68 Mustang 302 motor bored . 30 over with later heads . aluminum radiator. Too much to list . call for more info. AOD automatic. LOKAR shifter . Mustang II type front suspension with tube control arms . ower GT rack . 1 inch disc brakes and QA-1 coil-over shocks. Coated street rod short headers. 2 !/4 stainless mandrel bent exhaust all the way back with Borla SS turbo mufflers. The rear has tube ladder bar set-up with QA-1 coil-over shocks. 11 inch disc brakes. The stock 8. 5 rear end has bee narrowed by three inches and Mosier axles installed. I had a 3. 25 gear installed in the open rear end . ver sense that time I have had some rear end noise. 15 inch American Racing wheels with Bridgestone potenza P215/60R15 tires. Everything was new or rebuilt. all new gas and brake lines. gas tank. ender ect. BODY: Original 1965 Mustang convertible Too much to list . here are some of the major changes . new sheet metal except the trunk lid. Full rotisserie frame construction. [ frame runs inside the rocker panels] the cowl has been dropped 1 and 1/2 inch to chop the top . New smooth firewall. core support and inner panels . ith a reverse opening hood. Cloth electric top that operates like new . 2006 Mustang tail lamps molded to the body. Rear spoiler and quarter extensions are made of steel. [all steel] Tucked and fitted shaved bumpers. shaved and electric doors and trunk . Flat floor pan . M steering column. custom dash. console. Vintage AC . DO electronic gauges . lpine . ower antenna . ew glass . driving lights. This is good summer cruiser. and weekend show car! Many best of awards and GoodGuys pick. This is not a show car. it does have some minor chips and dings. I use my cars! I am selling it because I have two other RODS in the works . nd can only drive one at a time . o I am NOT interested in any trades.
