Description of 1929 Ford Other Roadster

This original 1929 Ford rumble-seat roadster is a California garage find. Originally a full fendered roadster (see picture). Last registered in 1970 it was dismantled & left to await 30+ years to again see the light of day. The pictures are a combination of the roadster as built & driven in the late 60’s early 70’s & as found in the Lakewood California garage. Also pictured is some of the effort to repair the years of neglect. My goal was to build a bitchin Hot Rod. however my current project. a ’60 Desoto has become my priority. I have tried to assemble many of the pieces of the roadster to make it more transportable. The way it is set up now the body is bolted to the frame at a few locations & the rest of the pieces can go inside the body for shipment. Here’s a summary of what you are buying; Please serious buyers only. not looking for any trades. The chassis is a nonfunctional rolling chassis. i. e. no brakes. drive train etc. have been installed. It rolls & turns. Modified TCI frame. a Super Bell dropped axel. ’79 Corvette rear suspension. Front brakes are included (mid 70’s Chev not installed). The body has had rust repair done to the lower rocker areas & fender wells. The front & rear fenders. front splash. hood & radiator shell are in very good shape with the exception of one rear fender having rust in an ~1x3” area. I removed the bulk of the cracked ugly yellow paint & shot the body & fenders with DTM primer. Also included are the headlights with headlight bar with horn & the single ’29 Ford tail light; grill shell & a new radiator; Canvas top & top bows; dash with SW gauges & a steel ’29 dash; hood; splashes & running boards & front & rear bumpers. Also. bucket seats drive shaft & steering column & front & rear shocks are. Please check out the pictures for complete identification of the parts. The engine is a 392 Chrysler HEMI (not running) originally from a 1957 Chrysler New Yorker. It is attached to a three speed Torque Flight tranny. There is no tranny mount installed. Also as noted there is a clean California 1929 Ford title. Here is your chance to get a Very cool Survivor Project Model A. Buyer to pay $1500. 00 deposit via Paypal Immediately. Balance to be paid in cash or approved funds when picked up. or 24 hrs. prior to shipment. Buyer to arrange shipping of vehicle & loose parts. I will not give out my banking information under any circumstance. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end that auction at any time.
