1951 Ford F-1 Pickup. This truck is the same year and color as the truck on the Sanford and Son Television Show. It is not the actual truck from the show! It is, however a true Barn Find. This truck has been sitting in an old garage for over 25 years. We removed it from the garage, dusted it off and with a little elbow grease and a battery and some gas, it started! Now the old flathead starts right up and idles well. The engine has a small tick that sounds like an exhaust leak, but may be a valve. I looked into repairing it and it should be a pretty cheap fix. I didn't repair it because there is a good chance the next owner will remove the flathead and replace it with an overhead valve engine. The truck starts, runs and drives. It shifts through the gears and has brakes. You will probably want to go through the brake system before putting her on the road. Truck has a clean, clear title. Cab is very solid. Cab Floor is great! Seat is torn but still nice. A fabric cover or horse blanket would make it look nice. Gauges are good. All Glass is in the truck. I think every piece is cracked or broken! I posted good pictures showing their condition. Most of the Headliner is gone. Cab Corners are solid. Door Bottoms are solid. Front Fenders have the typical rust for this model. Hood has some rust but is pretty solid. Bed Box is good but the Rear Fenders are pretty rusty. Tail Gate is good. Amazingly, the Wooden Bed Floor is still there and in pretty good condition. I guess that's from sitting inside for 25 years! Running Boards have rust holes. Wheels, Tires and Hub Caps are old Ford style. The tires are old and dry rotted. They hold air, but aren't good enough to be on the road. The bottom line is that you can drive this truck around the farm the way it is. With a little work, you can probably drive it anywhere. The nice thing about this truck is that it is original and very complete. Everything, including the oil bath air cleaner is still with it. It even still has the original jack mounted behind the passenger seat. It's hard to find them in this condition. Usually someone has cut them up or modified them in some way.The truck is being listed with no reserve. No Reserve. It sells to the highest bidder no matter the price. I may be able to assist with delivery, for a fee, within a couple hundred miles of Canton, Ohio. I will try to answer any questions through email. I have more pictures. If there is anything I missed and you would like to see, just email
