Description of 1966 Ford Galaxie

'66 Galaxie LTD fastback with big block 390 4v, C6 auto transmission and 9" posi rear. Engine runs like a sewing machine (Holley carb shown in photos belongs to another car and is mounted for demo purposes and will be removed after the Galaxie is driven onto the transport vehicle; original carb is included and works but could use a tuning). Excellent compression across all cylinders, no smoking or burning oil, no ticking or knocking. Transmission works perfectly, all gears engage and shifts are nice and firm. Rear end is tight and the posi unit is tight, doing two-wheel burnouts at will. Nothing on this car has a single leak; the undercarriage is bone dry. Power steering works great and isn't the first bit sloppy.
The body is in pretty decent shape. Quarters and floor pans are rock solid. Paint is pretty rough, though. It was repainted in the 90s, according to the previous owner, and sitting in a barn for 30 years wasn't kind to the clear coat, which is about half gone. The trim is all there and in surprisingly good condition. The vinyl top has been pulled off to prevent the roof from rotting. All the glass is in excellent condition. The body panels are hung perfectly and the doors open and close with one finger, sealing up tight. The trunk pan is shot in the very bottom but intact and solid up top.
The interior is in good shape, considering its all original from headliner to carpet. The seats are clean with no rips, tears, holes or wear. The dash is all there but the pad could stand to be replaced or capped. One spare is included. All of the dash lights work, speedometer works, gauges all work, switches all work, even the original Ford radio works perfectly. The windows all roll up and down/swing in and out easily and seal tight. Even the courtesy lights in the doors work when you open them. The horn works, headlights and highbeams work as well as turn signals. It's a factory A/C car. Everything is present for the air conditioning but the compressor (mounting bracket is still there). I expected to find rodent damage after decades of sitting but there is none at all. No broken wires, nests, chewed filling, nothing. The original carpet is there and looks pretty good but it's very delicate. It won't last at all with regular use and will need to be replaced.
I have driven this car around my neighborhood. All it needs to be a reliable daily driver is tires (the ones I have for it hold air and roll but are not safe for highway use; I have the car on jack stands to prevent further tire damage due to sitting), new brake fluid and a system bleed (it does stop pretty well but I'd definitely service the old manual four-wheel drums before putting it on the highway), and new fuel line. The old line was clogged up with bad gas and removed. Right now I have the fuel pump feed line in a can of gas to start and run the engine every few days. A new set of springs wouldn't hurt, either ($200 for a full set at a big-box parts store). A tune-up would be good, but the oil looks and smells fine as it is.
Clean and clear North Carolina title in hand.
Car is for sale locally, so I may take down this ad early if it sells. Cash, cashier's check or credit/debit card through Square Register (add 3% if using credit/debit). Non-refundable $500 deposit due within 24 hours of sale.
Local pick up within about 7 days preferred (I'm not going to be a hard-liner about this; I'll store the car a bit longer, within reason, if needed and full sale price has been received). I will prep and load the car onto buyer-arranged transport for free, also.
**UPDATE**
I've had several people ask about the data plate, so I've posted a photo of it. It reads:
