Short Story: The current owner originally purchased the Mustang in 1976 from another (older) student from Eldorado High School in Albuquerque New Mexico. I sold it in 1978 or 79. About 5 years had passed and I saw it on the side of a house near Alameda west of I-25. I knocked on the door and the residents told me it wasn’t for sale. 2 or 3 years after that I saw an ad in the local paper for a silver and black 1971 Mustang Mach 1. I called and made arrangements to see it. It turns out the person who had it on the side of their house did sell it shortly after I asked about it. The new owner lived in middle Albuquerque heights. Again, I recognized it as the one I had before-just beat up and in need of a lot of repair. I purchased the car back andIt’s been a personal project ever since and now it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. Most everything works however one of the smaller gauges and the driver’s seat adjustment still needs repair. This car has lots of potential and could be brought back to be a great Mach 1 with little effort.
The car drives out nicely on the highway and gets lots of looks.
