Description of 1964 Ford Galaxie

With a sad heart I am putting up for sale my 1964 Ford Galaxie 500. I have spent the entire year on a daily basis bringing this car back to life. I will try to list all the parts I can. Basically the car is new and I have kept all the receipts. To start the body was removed from the frame. All new brake lines and gas lines were installed. New body bushings also motor and transmission mounts. Any part on the frame that needed to be replaced was. The 390 engine was removed THIS ENGINE WAS NOT OVERHAULED! It only has 52000 miles on the original motor. So what it received was all new gaskets. plugs. wires. and fresh paint. The motor and transmission both perform great! I did have the carburator rebuilt. All new brakes from the master cylinder to the shoes. Also all new shocks. Now for the body. It has a right front floor patch that was installed. It was done so you cannot tell from the top or the bottom. Also the entire trunk was replaced from a donor car. Once again took a lot of time so you cannot tell this work has been done inside or under. Both back quarters were replaced ( welded solid) No other rust on the car. The entire car was stripped down to bare metal and received heavy coat of etched primer. No process was skipped! The body on this car is razor straight with and awesome paint job! All new weather strip and window felt were installed along with a new windshield. All glass works good. The custom interior was done by Samson Design In Marshall Mo. At a cost of over 7. 00. 00. It is Awesome! The torque thrust wheels on the back are 18x10 and the front are 17x8. Also new tires that have not seen the road. The car has power steering. brakes that work good. Along with cold AC. All lights. gauges and speedometer etc. work. Has a new gas tank and the front and back bumpers have been re-chromed. The only thing the car needs is to be aligned since it was lowered. It drives fine. but im sure this messed with the alignment. You probably noticed the cowl induction hood. it was cut off a 68 Camaro hood and welded on solid and really suits the car. The underneath of the hood was opened up so the cowl functions. Will list as many pics as I can but feel free to call me with any questions because I built this car myself. Over 30000. 00 invested Serious Inquiries Only! By phone is the best I do not check my emails daily. Thanks Kevin660-815-7779
