Description of 1993 Ford Crown Victoria |
Garage kept 1993 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor CHP Slicktop Replicar, show car, parade car. 4.6 liter V8, automatic transmission, cruise control, tilt wheel, power windows & door locks. The exterior of the car is Oxford White with Clear coat. The car had a complete, professional paint job, front and rear windshields out, bumpers, header & trim off. The paint is guaranteed for the life of the car. The interior is Dark Blue Cloth, 60/40 Split Bench Seat with Drivers Seat being power. Passenger seat is manual. The 93 Police Interceptor was the last year where the front seats were split bench. From 94 on they were bucket seats. The seats and interior are in good condition. There is a little sun fade on the wood trim on the dash. I haven't been able to find replacement wood trim as of yet. The car was in The Georgia University System as a Campus Safety Car most of it's life before being retired to local state agency use. It has never been in an accident. The odometer shows 7663 miles. Carfax shows 129k back in 1999. Being a state car all it's previous life, I don't know how many miles it actually has on it. I would guess 140k now and have put that in the auction. I've put about 2k miles on it in the 3+ years I've owned it and the Odometer has only increased by 150 miles. I don't think it works or has been broken for a long time. It had, nor has any title problems. I purchased the car at a Georgia State Auction in the fall of 2013 with a clear Georgia Title and had no problem getting a Regular Florida Title. I had the idea of turning it into a California Highway Patrol Replicar and taking it to different car shows in our area and driving it in our local parades. It has definitely been a crowd pleaser. It is outfitted with all of the period specific Federal emergency lights and GE radios and antennas. It has working spotlights, windshield mirror light, rear deck Federal Signal Traffic Advisor lights and a headlight flasher. Please see the picture of the trunk with the radio mountings. The siren is a Federal PA300. With the exception of the push bumper and shot gun rack missing, it's as close to historically accurate as possible. The siren speaker is mounted in the grille and it's still very loud. I couldn't find a shotgun rack or it would be in there now. Not having the push bumper was by choice as it would not fit in my garage with it. (The emergency light's and siren are disconnected for travel and only reconnected when stationary at car shows or a parade.) The car runs and handles great. Everything works including cold A/C and Cruise Control. Clear Florida Title in hand. I will be happy to assist the buyer with their shipping arrangements if needed, but I will not make the arrangements. Please email me if you have any specific questions or request for more pictures or videos. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours after the close of the auction via Paypal, no later than 5pm Eastern Time Monday September 12, 2016. Balance to be paid in cash or cashiers check within 3 days, no later than 3pm on September 15, 2016. Closing will take place at my local bank. If you want the car right away, bring cash. If you pay via check or even cashiers check, the vehicle will not leave my garage until the funds have cleared my bank. |
