In 1984-1986 it was on the Mercury Capri only, making coupes and convertibles. From 1987-1990 they jumped to Ford by producing the Mustang in a convertible only. A total production number for this '88 model is 1015, with an estimated 138 in this color combination. Based off a Mustang LX 5.0, a custom convertible top mechanism is fitted by the aftermarket tuners as well as a rear-seat delete kit and several other custom touches.
