1936 Ford Convertible Cabriolet


You are viewing a very rare and original Henry Ford steel car. Everything is original Henry steel. The car was built in Las Vegas around 2002 or so with 12,100 miles since finished. Solid car that runs and drives excellent. The car has been owned for 4 years.

Body/Paint:
The body is in very good condition with no rust or dents. The body is in very good condition with beautiful black base/clear paint. The fit and finish of the car is very good and shows well. The body is very straight with flat well-polished paint. Von Dutch recently did the pin stripping, which is super nice and unique. Fob controlled bear claw door poppers. Pull wire to pop trunk.

Top: Top is Mercedes black cloth with original restored frame in very nice condition.

Interior: The interior is professionally done with high grade vinyl using light burgundy in color. Seats are comfortable with adjustment knobs. Vintage air that blows cold. Tilt GM column. VDO black face gauges Frenched in the dash including tach. Power steering, Single play CD player am/fm radio, auto Frenched antenna with 4 speaker set up including 2 ea 6X9 speakers in the rear.

Running Gear: GM 350 crate ZZ4, Edelbrock polished aluminum RPM air gap intake with carb, Ceramic headers, two each pusher fans as well as puller fan, HD aluminum radiator, HEI ignition, 100 amp one wire alternator. Transmission is a TH 350 with shift kit. Rear end is a Ford 9 inch with 370 gears, non posi.

Suspension: Original frame is very good condition restored using reinforcements on the X member as well as the main frame boxed. Mustang II front suspension with leaf springs on the rear with standard shocks front and back.

Bright work: Very nice condition and shows well both chrome and stainless.

Glass: Replaced when restored.

Exhaust: Dueled off using 2 ¼ pipe with Hush puppy mufflers. Sounds really good.

Brakes: Wilwood polished aluminum disc brakes all the way around with large rotors. Stops really well with good foot pedal feel, non-power.

Wheels/Tires: Billet Specialties polished aluminum in very nice condition. Cooper Zion low profile high performance tires with lots of rubber. 205/40/17 front and 255/45/17 rear.

Summary: A very nice rare Cabriolet that is a good road and show car. Drives and rides excellent. Don’t miss out on this original all steel beauty.
