Description of 1930 Ford Model A |
Up for sale is my 1930 ford model a coupe. This car is built as a traditional hot rod. the car is chopped 2" and channeled 2". All metal work is complete including lower patch panels. Panels have been blended to match and retain the original patina. panels all professionally TIG welded and finished. Car is on an original boxed model a frame that is kicked up in the rear. Banjo rear axle with a 40 ford spring. front suspension is a 4" dropped axle with 40 ford spindles and brakes front and rear. Dual master cylinder the floor. Engine is a 50 ford 8BA adapted to an early 80s ford 4 speed overdrive transmission with a hydraulic clutch.Headers are made with model Ttorquetubes. Open drive line with shortened driveshaft. F1 steering box with early ford column. column drop. and steering wheel. Seat is upholstered and folds down for access to battery behind the seat. Gas tank is in the trunk and is an early Chevy truck tank. Aftermarket 32 grill shell, modified model a radiator. 12 volt with powerGen alternator. 32 cowl vent. The engine in this car is as is from a running 50 ford. Engine has blow by and miles are unknown. runs pretty good but I would consider tired. There are a few things the car needs. Front tires are in good shape but are showing cracks and could stand to be replaced. All of the lights work but has no front turn signals. It is wired for them but the original guide lights are removed. Ground issue with dashgaugesneeds to be fixed. Car sold as is but has been a good car and does not have any major mechanical issues to myknowledge. I reserve the right to end the auction early Call for any information 262 483 3609 |
