Description of 1976 Ford F-250

Long story short I have had this truck 20 years. All work was done by me except the paint work. Reason for selling: my dad passed a month ago and I am restoring his 1949 F1 Ford . I only pay for toys with money from other toys so this one is it. This truck just sits stored in my shop and really has only been driven to a couple of cruise nights and used to pull my sons class floats in the school Homecoming Parades . The truck does not get used enough so it's time for someone else to enjoy it. The truck started life as a 1979 F-100 from California ( titled as that truck). Everything was transferred to 1972 Highboy F-250 running gear. Air Truck but not hooked up and cab has green air glass. Made to look like a 1976 as that was my favorite year. 390fe 2bbl engine ( uses the 1979 electronic ignition) 4 spd granny low Trans Dana 60 rear 4:11 open Old style Dana 44 front drum brake 4:10 Manual steering and brakes ( that s the down side to this truck) Single gas tank rear . new style square plastic tank in a metal cell between the frame rails BF Goodrich Mud T/A 35-12:50-16. 5 ( rare and no longer made) 16. 5 X 9. 75 Ford Camper Special rims with Ford F-250 dog dish caps Bedrug in bed Torza Platinum Tri folding tonneau cover Most all emblems and trim were new from LMC or NOS Seat is out of a 90's F series truck. Custom bent exhaust with flow master 40's. Hooker Hedders Paint was done the original color in 2006 ( see pics of body before) Period style cab lights Dash and inside unmolested and in very good shape. This is one of the cleanest older dip sides you will fine. Again the downside is it still drives like a truck and could used a front axle. power steering. power brakes upgrade. Slight front wheel shake at about 35mph but not at speed. Tires are balanced with dynabeads Never ever kept outside or driven off road. THIS IS NOT A MUD TRUCK.
