Description of 1972 Ford Ranchero 500

NO ENGINE
Body on the passenger side and tailgate have multi-able bends, drivers side is in better condition with the rear section needing to be straightened. Entire vehicle needs to be re-painted (extremely rough). Windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced. Interior has one bucket seat only, door panels with armrest plus visors need to be recovered. Needs carpet, dash pad, and headliner.
The C-4 Transmission with torque convertor is laying on the truck bed, parking pawl did not engage, would recommend having the transmission benched for inspection and repair/rebuild prior to installing for use. Transmission cross brace and drive shaft are also in the bed of the truck.
This vehicle does not have an engine, starter, battery, radiator or shroud, exhaust system, front shocks, bench seat, spare tire or jack.
The vehicle does have an air conditioning pump w/bracket and hoses (in bed of truck), alternator, center grill (inside vehicle), power steering pump, master cylinder (appears to leak), steering and suspension is complete and ready for rebuilding.
This vehicle could be purchased for parts only or with a complete engine restored to drive again. Vehicle has over 100K on chassis.
