Description of 1968 Ford Bronco |
Up for auction is my 1968 bronco, this bronco took me a solid 3 years to build, initially being built to be the baddest bronco on the road. My inspiration came from seeing many nice broncos visiting moab or on 4x4 trails. It was the same story most broncos I saw had 33-35" tires a fuel injected 302 and tons of wild horses and bronco graveyard parts... That was where I wanted to part myself from that group and do something a little different. What i came up with was this... My Bronco is packing a 363 dart block splayed 4 bolt mains with AFR heads, custom fabricated fender exit headers, custom intake manifold, dyers 6-71 blower, fast fuel injection, custom cage, 44 front axle and a 60 in the rea, an extremley well thought out link suspension front and rear, King coilover shocks 18" front 14" rear, 39.5x16.5x16.5 pitbull rockers, 435 manual transmission, bronco dana 20 transfer case with black box I under drive, hydro assist steering, high steer, ARB air lockers, 35 spline chromoly rear axles, corabeau seats, marine stereo deck/speakers and much more... I used to keep a notepad on the build and wrote down every single part that I put into the truck needless to say I kinda stopped writing parts down after I hit the $50K mark, mind you this was my list on parts only and did not include the approximate 1500 hours i had in building the truck. 90% of this truck is new, only the body and frame really remain original. And No its not perfect If you are looking for a show bronco this is not the bronco for you but if your looking for the type of bronco you can break the 40" tires loose on pavement by stomping on the throttle then yes you will love my bronco. If you like the idea of having to throw an alternator belt back on in the Walmart parking lot because you just hit 6000rpm in a matter of seconds and the belts blew off because they couldn't keep up with the blower then you will love my bronco. If your idea of a good weekend is going for a cruise and setting off car alarms by accident then you will love my bronco. Finally if you can respect what it actually takes to build a project truck and use it for its intended purpose like moab slick rock or hauling ass down a BLM road just soaking up the washboards then you will love my bronco. I got married with this truck and I used to put my daughter in it and let the 3" flow masters and the whistle of the blower shake her to sleep. For me I am selling part of my family off and if you are interested in the truck i would love sell it to the right person for a very reasonable price...If you plan to recreate a story about how you built it and sell it to somebody else in 3 months then please don't bid on this truck. The right buyer is out there i just need eBays help to find that person. Partial trades are considered and i will shut the auction down for the right offer... Please feel free to call me or text me about the bronco i can even send a video of it running ect if your a serious buyer. nine seven zero eight one nine zero three four one |
