Description of 1993 Ford F-150 |
Selling my 1993 Ford F150 XLT with only 1441xx miles. This is a good mechanically sound truck, I have owned it for almost 3 years and it has always started and ran fine. Only reason I am selling is because I need a crew cab. Vehicle available for test drive prior to auction ending. Clean title. 5.8 liter V8 engine 4 wheel drive Automatic117" Wheelbase Bed liner Tow hitch Manual locking hubs Upgraded headunit (will include stock headunit)Will include factory Ford service manual CD and Haynes service manual Maintenance performed since ownership on 1/16/14: Multiple engine oil changes Fuel Filter Air Filter Crankcase Filter Water Pump Thermostat Coolant FlushBrake Fluid Flush Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses PCV Valve Upper and Lower Intake Manifold Gaskets Throttle Body Gasket Spark Plugs Fuel Injector Seals and Caps Transfer Case Shifter Linkage Oil Pressure Gauge Switch Transmission Oil and Filter Coolant Temp Switch Battery Some other odds and ends I probably can't remember The Good: *Engine and transmission run well *Oil pressure and coolant temperature gauges stay in the middle *Low mileage for age *Interior in great shape *No accidents The Bad: *Clearcoat peeling (this was common on this year and paint color) *Occasionally the ABS/Brake light will illuminate, this in no way affects braking performance. I pulled the code and I think it is just a faulty master cylinder switch detecting low brake fluid *Slight amount of rust on rear fenders with a subpar repair above right rear fender *A/C hasn't worked since purchase, never bothered looking into it, the heat works fine though *Right front wheel bearing sounds like it is going bad, no vibration just noisy at around 60mph |
