Description of 1972 Ford Mustang |
NO RESERVE!!! I'm selling my 1972 Ford Mustang. The car is turn key...jump in and drive. Car is in overall great shape and a very nice driver. Car fires right up, shifts very smooth and sounds and runs great. Believed to be a 2 owner car and have some original documentation that will be included with the sale of the car. Very smooth running 302 motor, great shifting automatic transmission. There is a very small transmission leak if the car sits for a while but still functions as it should. There are front disk breaks and rear drums and the car stops as it should. It is a factory A/C car but it is missing some of the A/C stuff. I do have the original air cleaner and valve covers that will be included with the sale of the car. The interior is in very good shape with no rips or tears anywhere. Carpet, headliner, sun visors, dash pad, and package shape are all in very good shape as well. All windows roll up and down as they should. All lights and turn signals work as well. The only things I know of that aren't working is the radio, dome light, and the drivers side mirror adjuster on the door is broken otherwise the interior is great. To the best of my knowledge the car has received one repaint in its 44 year life painted back the factory color. The paint looks really good with no signs of rust, cracking or bubbling. The wheels show normal signs of wear over the years with some fading on the original hubcaps. Tires are like new. Floors look to be in very good shape with no signs of rust. Trunk feels solid but there is some paint flaking form under the carpet from something that was sprayed in there who knows how long ago (see pictures). This car has been kept mostlyoriginal over the years and it is an instant conversation starter whenever we take her out. Bought the car for my wifebecause she's always wanted an oldMustang and it doesn't get driven like I expected it to, soI don't want it to sit. Here is a link to a video walk around of the car. https://youtu.be/CtpYmId8QtI Please ask questions before bidding. I can send additional pictures on request. Buyer is responsible for shipping butI will help in anyway I can. The car is listed for sale local as well so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime for any reason. FULL PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED AND CLEARED MY BANK BEFORE THE CAR LEAVES MY POSSESION! I will NOT except the entire payment through PayPal. Please ask questions before bidding. It is recommended that you inspect the car before bidding however I have done my best to describe the condition of the car. |
