Classic 1970 Ford F-250 Truck I bought this truck with the intention of re-building it, but it has turned out to be more work and more cash than an average working stiff can afford. It has dozens of minor little problems that need to be fixed, but it is basically a solid truck, no massive rust, no major dents... good strong body. It runs well and shifts well. I have put about $1,500 into it since I bought it, but it needs somebody who has the time and money to make it a real beauty. I replaced the exhaust system, tuned it up, added seat belts, replaced the automatic choke, installed a new ignition switch, and replaced the windshield. It needs a lot of other small fixes. I drive it a few times a month to pick up feed or haul firewood, so I haven't used it as a commuter vehicle or anything like that. Like I said, it starts right up after sitting all week and runs fairly good. It needs the love and care of a classic Ford truck admirer... more than I can give it. It will make a great start for a ground-up restoration. It has an 8 cyl. - 360 engine, 215 horsepower, 8.4:1 compression ratio, 2-bbl carburetor, 2 WD, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes. Interior is in good condition, a few minor flaws, nothing serious. I'd love to keep this truck and put $10,000 into it and make it an awesome looker, but I got kids to feed and put through college, so I got to let it go. On the mileage... it doesn't register in the hundred thousands, just in the ten thousands so the odometer reads 24,633 miles. I don't know if that is 124,633 miles or 224,633 miles... so I guessed and put 124,633...... it may have a lot more, I just don't know.
