Description of 1923 Ford Model T |
This beautiful T-Bucket was built in the early 70's and has recently undergone an entire frame off restoration. Over 800 pictures fully document the restorative process. as well as receipts and an expense tracking file. The engine is a 383 Stroker custom built by Performance Chevrolet in Phoenix. Arizona and sounds amazingly healthy with unbelievable power! The only parts not chromed on the engine are the double hump heads and block (literally). Take a close look. this engine is pristine and absolutely beautiful. The starter and alternator are chromed and brand new as well. The transmission is a 2 Speed PowerGlide custom built by Hughes Transmission in Phoenix. Arizona. The chassis is satin black and all suspension components. including the axles (1958 Corvette rear. 4" drop old school front with disc brakes). cross members. radius arms. etc. . are newly chromed. In fact. every piece of this car was freshly chromed and is show quality by Concours Chrome and Kerr West Plating in Phoenix. Arizona. There is literally $1. 00's of dollars in chrome receipts alone. All bolts and acorn nuts are brand new and chrome. The rear Mickey Thompson tires. front tires. all brakes. bearings. brake lines. proportioning valve. u-joints. seals. Wilwood master cylinder. electric fuel pump. Walker radiator and matching chrome shell. coil over shocks. headers. battery. starter. water pump. alternator and many other parts are brand new. The upholstery is brand new. as well as the jet black high gloss exterior paint. The dash is custom fabricated from aluminum and custom painted in wood grain the match the steering wheel. as well as the shifter knob. The gauges are new Stewart Warner Wing gauges (tachometer and speedometer cable needs to be hooked up). The windshield frame. glass and seals are brand new and custom. as well as the mini peep mirrors and center rear view mirror. Seriously. everything is new or fully restored. I am making room in the garage for a new project. This custom build is titled as a 1974 and is currently licensed in Arizona. If it doesn't hit reserve. I will likely hold onto the car until the next GoodGuys show or Barrett Jackson auction to be held in Scottsdale. I would love to see it go to a good home though.
