Description of 1978 Ford Mustang Fast back, T-top

1978 Mustang II. Always in a heated, A/C environment. Never driven in the rain or snow. I installed the drivetrain out of a 1985 Mustang GT. Engine is bored .030 oversized with TRW pistons and rings, with a roller cam shaft. It has the T5 manual transmission, posi-traction rear end, and traction bars. I also installed nickel plated headers with dual exhaust. Holley 650 double pumper with mechanical secondaries. Paint job is the original color scheme, but re-done in a pearl white that turns blue. Original gold pinstripes, and I added the Cobra Hood scoop. This car has been in storage more than it has been out on the road. The engine overhaul has less than 1,000 miles on it. As with most cars that sit more than they move, it does have some brake calipers/cylinders that need attention. The heater core was leaking, so I did a bypass on it.This car has been in a museum environment most of it's latter life. I find myself wondering why I continue to store this, if I seldom drive it. I drive it once a year. This was the first, and only"new" car I ever bought, and the only reason I hold on to it is because of sentimental value. Lately, I find myself thinking......if I really loved this car that much, why am I not driving it?? I have many original Ford Motor Company shop manuals, as well as the original brochure to go with it. I also have many used and new parts to go with it. New T-top seals, two center consoles, etc. I list this on Ebay for the simple fact that I am more likely to find a buyer here, that will love and cherish this car as much as I have over the years......... The last thing I want, is to sell this carlocally, only to see it later in a dilapidated state. Which is why I hope to find a buyer miles away from me, who will respect and restore this car to the gem that it truly is!
