Fully restored, all original 1951 Ford F-1 pickup. Black exterior and interior, 239 CID flathead V-8 with 3 speed transmission and column shift. This vehicle was originally purchased in Southeastern Pennsylvania. It came into my family in 1969 when it was traded by the original owner, an Electrician who used it as a work truck. The truck was used very infrequently throughout the 1970’s. During most of the 1980s, it was stored in a barn. In 1990, my Father, a former Ford Dealer who sold the truck to its original owner, commenced a 2 year restoration project. I have had the pickup stored in my garage since 2000. I take it out every couple of weeks and drive it a few miles to keep the battery charged and make sure that everything is still operating normally. This black beauty is an eye catcher that you have to see in person to fully appreciate.
Many other pictures are available upon request, including a few taken during the restoration.
