This pickup is a project that I have built. It is built from several sources, the cab is a 1947 (all the same 1940 thru 1947) the front fenders are 1940 and the hood is a 1941. The grill is 1940 also. The engine is a 1976 ford 200 ci inline six cylinder from a Fairmont and has the matching c-4 auto transmission. The rear end is a ford 8 inch from a 1970 Ranchero. It has a Mustang II type front end and power steering. The brakes are not power, but work well with this light pickup. The seat is original and was recovered. It was not built as a hot rod but more as a daily driver that can get some decent milage and is easy to maintain. It is fun to drive and runs out good, no problem keeping up with traffic. The radiator is out of a mustang and uses an electric fan, have never had a problem with overheating and it runs right at the thermostat setting. The cab needs body work and some rust spots fixed, I tried to get those in the pictures I took, and the interior needs the headliner put in. All the lights, gauges and stereo (mounted on rood of the cab) work including turn signals and brakes lights. The pickup is licensed as a 1947 as that was the only piece with a title (clear) and that was the cab. I have tried to represent this little pickup as best I can and can answer any questions you might have.
