Description of 1962 Ford Galaxie XL 500

Up for auction is a very cool 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Convertible. The car has a clear Wisconsin title. This car had a full professional restoration completed about 5 years ago and has been driven very little since then. It looks, runs and drives great!

Drivetrain is a rebuilt 390 cu. in V-8 engine with afour barrel carburetor. It hasa 3 speed automatic transmission and a rebuilt Ford 9" rear end.

The paint on the car is excellent. The quarter window and vent window trim has a little pitting but the rest of the trim is very good. Bumpers have been rechromed and look great. All the glass is good. It has new American Racing

Interior is new as well as the manual top. It has a new style retro radio in it. All the lights and gauges work like they should.
