1989 Ford former ambulance, 7.3 diesel, automatic, currently titled in my name as a conversion van. Plug-in for 110 volts, power converter and power inverter so lights and accessories can run on household current or 12 volts. 2 newer deep cycle marine batteries, nearly new tires, aluminum radiator, 60 amp alternator. I took it on a 1,500 mile trip recently and it drove perfectly, plenty of power and excellent brakes. I consistently got 14.5 MPG. Box is aluminum and the cab area has minimal rust, I assume because it was kept indoors most of it's life and it originally came from eastern Pennsylvania. On the down side, it doesn't have alot of legroom. I have a bad knee so I started disassembling the cabinet behind the driver's seat to move the seat back and gave up on it. Also, on my trip the fuel gauge quit working. The interior looks to be original and could use some "fluffing up". I urge people to see it in person before bidding. An e-mail will get you my phone number. This is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel this ad. Conversion was done by Life Line Emergency Vehicles in Sumner, Iowa. My reply below didn't show up in the box.
