This truck began as a seldom used ranch truck in Wyoming before spending the last 15 years with a 75 year-old Ford enthusiast in Phoenix who treated this truck like his own child before he became too old to care for it. I purchased this truck from him almost 2 years ago with plans of a full restoration but circumstances have made it impossible. It has been garaged and maintained and I have put less than 200 miles on it in that time. This truck runs very strong, starts right up on the first turn, and I am asked if it is for sale EVERY time I drive it... And now it is. In 1974 Ford built over 650k trucks and less than 3,000 were F250s with 8 ft flareside beds. There are only a handful left on the road and and this super clean and maintained 71k original mile truck is RARE and will only go up in value. It's got some surface rust and could use some cosmetics but is a daily driver without question. It's got the more desirable and reliable 360 engine, divorced transfer case, Warn locking hubs, and an absolute beast for hauling, cruising, showing, and enjoying. This is dream truck for an easy restoration project or drive it exactly as it is! I don't want to sell it but someone will get a great truck from a great home. I have local interest and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. The reserve is still below what I have into the truck so if you've dreamed of an authentic and rare Highboy I doubt you will find a better deal anywhere anytime soon.
