Description of 1966 Ford F-100 Custom |
1966 Ford F100 Custom Pickup
VIN: F10YK888509 "Derelict" Look - Yes, it's really meant to appearold & beat-up!
“Derelicting” an old vehicle is becoming quite common. I think it started with the first gen VW Beetle crowd and has now spread to many other older vehicle types. Basically, the entire body (and interior of the bed) were scuffed and clear coated to seal in the existing flaws and keep it looking this vintage for many more years. Very, Very cool! Stand 20 feet away, and you’d think it’s just another ol’ truck, but come closer and it’s amazing how shiny it is!A new chromerear bumperand a nice B & M floor shift were added after the standard-clutch-to-automatic transmission conversionas well. The stock factory rubber floor mat is new. It’s covering a galvanized replacement driver’s floor pan. Ideally, the next owner should do the same to the passenger side sometime in the future as it’s quite far gone. Pretty easy to have done. I’d likely do the section ahead of both doors at the same time to solidify everything. You don’t need to be in a hurry though, it’s been this way for a few generations!
I always encourage folks to stop by my Auburn Washington warehouse (by appointment) to inspect, drive and make an offer. Please BID WITH CONFIDENCE and know that you are purchasing a decent truck from a respected Ebay Seller. While we always sell vehicles on an “as-is, where-is” basis, my goal is being sure you’re happy with your purchase - and your dealings with me – with the hope that you’ll be back again for one of our future vehicle auctions. Because of the amount of money involved in buying a vehicle, I require Ebay members with a feedback history of five or fewer transactions to call or email before placing a bid. If we don’t have this initial contact, your bid may be cancelled. The phone number to talk directly to me, as outlined above, is 206/914-1173. Please feel free to call any time during the auction. My name is MARK. A Few Additional Terms and Conditions: A nonrefundable $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction’s conclusion. The balance is due by cash or certified funds within seven business days unless prior arrangements have been made with me. Please remember you are bidding to buy and I fully expect the winning bidder to fulfill their Ebay contract! You’re not bidding to hold or then come inspect and test-drive the car later -- You’re more than welcome to do this before the auction ends. If you decide to have the truck shipped home, there are scores of companies to choose from. I have vehicles transported out regularly and suggest that you get a bid from Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS). They're EBay’s preferred company and will give you a fair quote. Call them directly at (888) 817-6203. Give the phone rep my affiliate number (2362642) and they can pull up all our information for station-to-station or even door-to-door quotes. For West Coast buyers, I have a good, economical transporter we regularly use for Portland, The Bay area and down to Los Angeles. You might also get bids from the U-Ship.com website. You’ll be able to choose a transport broker from multiple offers. The zip code for pick-up would be 98002 (Auburn, Washington). The shipping of the vehicle and company chosen are the responsibility of the BUYER. The pickup can be stored free-of-charge at my location for up to two weeks after the auction ends assuming full payment has been received. After that period storage is $20 per day. |
