1965 F100 Short Bed Stepside; 6 cylinder, 240 engine which was rebuilt and overbored .040 at some point, making it fun to drive and amazingly peppy! This little truck is a proven reliable great running little truck! I am selling because I bought another “slick”, so after several years with me it needs to find a new home. In great mechanical condition. My daily driver during the summer months, about 50 trouble free highway miles round trip. Always maintained the years I’ve owned it, regular oil changes, etc. and things like new windshield installed (3 months ago), good glass all around, new rear window gasket, seat reupholstered, interior clean, good tires, things were taken care of as needed. So, truck needs nothing mechanical to be reliable. Cosmetically, the truck has “patina”, with some small rust holes in the cab floor, cab corners have rust pin holes, very bottoms of rear fender under the bed have rust out. As you can see this 50 year old truck has it's fair share of bumps, bruises and surface rust. Wood in bed is rough, but covered with a sheet of plywood. Windwing rubbers and door gaskets pretty far gone. Still, this F-100 is very solid and not a pile of junk! If you are looking for a short box to restore, this is probably NOT it. This truck should most likely be enjoyed as is, or you imagination sees fit. Again it has proven to be a great and reliable work and play truck, never failing to start a conversation or get looks. Please feel free to ask questions and request more specific pictures if needed. Truck is located in the Bend Oregon area.
