The car is going into winter storage, right now I will take back what I have into the car not including my time $29,000.00 and that's giving it away............ This is a 15 year long restoration of a solid original mileage barn fresh 1935 Ford convertible sedan.. This car sat in barn storage for over 40 years up Maine and was bought by a friend of mine over 20 years ago and he stored it away. She is Washington blue, Straw wheels and pin stripes, has a LB flat head motor, original 3 speed transmission, beautiful original frame and suspension. In 1935 this car was considered by Ford a closed car even though the top went down (due to the fact it has roll up windows) so it was offered with EITHER leather interior or its current Bedford Cord upholstery..... About 15 years ago he started the restoration process by buying every thing new he needed.... The car was totally dismantled, every steel part, nut, bolt and screw was sand blasted to clean original metal. This was the first year of this body style, it was just like the Phaeton as it is a 4 door convertible but has glass roll up windows instead of side curtains......Just had the carb. rebuil, has been upgraded to 12 volt system, runs very good, very nice car ..... Book value on this car in number 2 condition is $45,000.00 and its better then that. I am willing to trade for a 1928thru 1972 done car priced realistically (no 4 doors).................................. Any more questions call me at 603-942-6118...
