For sale: 1942 Ford Business Coupe (Super Deluxe) Street Rod. This is a very rare car because the government halted production of civilian vehicles on Feb. 10, 1942, due to World War II. Only 43,307 Fords had been built sinceJan 1, and that made the 1942's the rarest Fords since 1910.
The car was taken off frame, sanded down to metal, primed and and painte, 2015 car was sanded down to metal primed and repainted Mercedes 2005 Mystic Pearl. The car has a rebuilt 350 Chevrolet four bolt main with a 280 cam, 350 turbo Chevrolet transmission with shift kit, Fatman kit, with 1978 Ford Mustang 2 rack and pinion steering, 11 inch Chevrolet disk brakes on front, 1974 Nova Chevrolet rear end with drum brakes, power brakes, and Hooker Block Hugger Headers.
