Description of 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe |
Fuzzy Dice Autos Has up for auction a gorgeous classic 1966 Ford Mustang coupe equipped with its original engine and drive train. The VIN and Trim Tag verify that this vehicle came with a 289 V8 and a four speed manual transmission. The four speed trans was an option in 1966 and so was the steering column gauge package. The body is in all around excellent condition. Not a single blemish anywhere. The paint finish was done within the past ten years. Always garaged kept and never ever driven in the rain. Document mileage is 83,140. The chrome, the wheels, glass and rubber are all excellent. The under carriage is as nice as the rest of the car. No body filler nor signs of any prior accidents. The interior is just as nice. Original seats, door panels, headliner, carpeting, dash and gauge package are all beautiful. No rips, tears or blemishes anywhere. I personally drove this beauty for almost 80 miles. I was thoroughly impressed with its speed output and all around performance. The engine ran strong and fast. No leaks, blow back or hesitation. The four speed transmission shifted smoothly though all the gears. This is without a doubt one of the very finest 66 Mustangs I’ve ever had the pleasure of driving. Equipped with Factory Power Steering and front disc brakes. Many original Ford parts like the air cleaner and lots of others come with the car. This is a vehicle that can be driven anywhere and often or saved for those summer car shows and cruise nights. We welcome any inquiries and request for addition photos to those serious bidders. The early Mustangs continue to rise in collector value so don’t miss out on this beautiful show winner! Best of luck bidding |
