This car is known to be one of the best models by Ford, still seen on the road nowadays.I'm the second owner and itserved us well for over 18 years with the last 11 being used only occasionally, as a spare and "utility vehicle" due to the incredible room and versatility of the hatchback. About a year ago the fuel pump gave up, and although it's an easy repair (the fuel pump assembly is cheap and can be accessed/replaced through the interior of the car, under the back seat) I haven't got around to do it and I probably won't in the foreseeable future. Consequently I'm selling the car as a quick repair or for parts. It has good paintand body (except for3 rust spotson the rear fenders, and a dent in the front passenger quarter panel, shown in pictures) with clean interior and engine compartment (see more picture here ). Rear bumper has a crack from a parking lot event (someone backed up into it and left). I always changed the oil and filter every 3,000 miles and always used Mobil 1 5W30.A spreadsheet with the gas fills,oil and filter changes, tires, bulbs, belts, air filtersand other replacements and repairs for most of the 18 years is also available.Besides the fuel pump and an odometer that's slipping (it has new cable but the plastic gears insideare likelyworn - also relatively easy/cheap repair or replacement), everything it needs to be ready for the road are wear and tear items:- New tires (the GoodYear Aquatred 3 still haveenough threadbut are over 6 years old and should not be used). It also has a flat on rear passenger side that can't be fixed (spare is shown in pictures).- Oil and filter change- Brake check and adjustment (pads and shoes should be good)- A/C check/charge- New battery (comes with old one that can be usedfor thecore discount) Accessories:- Active restraint system (automatic shoulder belt, lap belt is manual)- Cruise control- Air conditioning- Power locks- Radio with cassette player Comes with 3/4 of the gas tank full.
