Description of 1974 Ford Bronco Sport |
1974 Ford Bronco Sport I recently bought out a large private vehicle collection, I’m restoring some of the vehicles, others I’m selling. This Bronco was part of that collection. This Bronco was stored inside for a few years until I bought it. We spent a couple weeks going through it, we have it at a good point to pass on to the next owner. 1974 is a good Bronco year with the desired components, this is also the Sport package. I’ll explain below more specifics, I’ve driven this truck several times to test it out in 20 mile increments. I’ve gone over all the major components, I have not checked every wire bulb etc. I wanted to keep the cost down to pass on to someone looking to upgrade as they go along. The early Bronco has been skyrocketing it value the past couple years with no stop in sight due to the new early Bronco Ford plans to release in the next year or two. Any early Bronco is a great investment, the 73-77 are the best years in my opinion. Click this YouTube link for a 5 minute video. ***the video starts at 23 seconds, my fault, you can manually start it from the beginning** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rePjL8VvrvI&t=23s Click this PhotoBucket link for 85 pics. http://s953.photobucket.com/user/fj40man79/library/1974%20Bronco MECHANICAL The 302 V8 is very strong, we tested it out, all checked out optimal. Upgraded to a Holley 4 barrel carburetor. Automatic C4 transmission, factory power steering, factory power front disc brakes on the Dana 44 axle. Rear axle is the Ford 9 with a limited slip locker. Gear set is 3.50. Dual fuel tanks. Truck drives nice and straight, plenty of power. BODY Overall, the body is good for a 42 year old 4x4. I did not see any extensive rot to speak of. It has been repainted many years ago, with chips in the paint. It was towed behind a motor home. Check out all the pictures on the link, it shows condition well. I take a myriad of pictures to show everything, as really can’t point out every flaw on an un-restored vehicle. I welcome 3rd party inspections during not after the auction. I’m a licensed vintage auto inspector and appraiser and find no offense in you hiring someone to look as I get paid to do the same daily. I accept bank to bank wire to our US Bank business account or cash in person only within 3 days closed auction. I have a clean clear WA state title in my wife’s name, in hand. I have an excellent shipping broker whom has shipped dozens of vehicles for me over the years within the lower 48, will put you in contact with him or work with your shipper. I have options for Hawaii and Canada, also international. I will deliver within 250 miles of 99353 at $2 a loaded mile. Vehicle or title do not leave my property until full cleared payment. |
