Description of 1969 Ford Mustang mach 1 |
Up for bids is this very original very solid 1969 mach 1 mustang. I have bought alot of mustangs over the years and this is probably going to be one of the most original and solid cars I have had. It has very very little rust in it. It has been in storage for many many years. It has been out of the weather which has saved it. The car is a M code 351 automatic car. It was a factory A/C power steering car. The A/C stuff is still in the dash but the under hood stuff is gone. All the glass is good in it. If you are hunting a project to rebuild and want something easy to build this is it. This car would take very little repair as far as rust. The rear quarters are good, doors are good, fenders are good, hood and deck lid are good, trunk floor is good, floor pans are good, frame rails are good, and engine bay is good. It has a few dents in the drivers side that will need some attention. I have another door to go with it and it will need need a dent poped out of the drivers rear quarter. It has the original door tag, dash tag, and build tag on it. You rarely find the original build tag on them still. It was a original candy apple red car. When I got it the motor was bad in it. It was the original motor and transmission. I put another 351 in it that is a good running motor and is ready to go. It still has the original transmission in it. I basically hooked the motor up to the point to where you can crank it up with the key and it will run and runs good. I still needs to be finished hooking up but I will let the new owner either finish it or pull it out for a restoration. It will need the brakes gone thru and new gas tank. This car has been sitting up for several years so everything is old on it. This is a 47 year old car so keep that in mind as well. The inside is in decent shape. The dash pad and dash area look good. Seats are decent. The headliner is decent and door panels are as well. They are not perfect but decent. Here is the decoding of the door tag. 9T02M193935 63C body 2 door mach 1 T5 color Candy Apple red 3A Black Vinyl mach 1 23D Date April 23 21 DSO Atlanta 6 Axle 3:00:1 X transmission FMX automatic This is still a numbers matching car except for the different motor I put in it because the original motor was bad. It is still a 351 era correct motor. It has electronic ignition. This is overall a very solid and complete true mach 1 mustang. If you have questions or need more info just let me know. The car is located in Jonesboro Louisiana and will have to be picked up here. It is not driveable like it is so will have to be loaded by a winch. I can assist in loading. I will accept cash in person, certified bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment for this car. It has a clear title. Please serious buyers. If you need to talk to me direct email me or call me at 318-278-1069. My name is Rodney. On Dec-05-16 at 05:02:18 PST, seller added the following information: I have had several questions asking about the original motor. I have the motor that came with the car. It is a C9 block and the guy said it is the original motor that came out of the car. I still have it and whether or not it is rebuildable I don't know but if you want it you can have it. It is basically a short block. It looks like someone tore it down and never did anything with it. |
