Almost everything mechanical on the car has been replaced or rebuilt with new, or better-than-new, parts. This includes the motor, cooling system, clutch, transmission, driveshaft, rear axle, front and rear suspension, brakes, wheels, and tires. See the long, itemized list below for details. The car accelerates, handles, and brakes far better than a stock Mustang LX 5.0. The car is extremely fast, but it also built and tuned for reliability and drivability. It idles beautifully and the transmission shifts perfectly. Because of the power, this car is not appropriate for someone who just got his or her driver license. The car has its original paint and all of the body panels are original. None have ever been replaced and you can see the original VIN tags on all fenders, doors, trunklid, hood, bumpers, etc. In the last month, I have replaced the passenger door lock actuator and the starter solenoid. The converted air conditioning system has a slow leak, requiring a bottle of R-134 to be added every other month.
