1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe Hot Rod - Fuel Injection Donor Drivetrain from a 1994 Mustang with only 10k miles. REAL STEEL body (glass fenders) New floors were installed but frame was perfect at time of build. This great coupe was a labor of love for it's builder. Classic instruments were used and full custom leather seats, door panels headliner and rear deck. Mustang II front suspension with new shocks and springs from Speedway. Performance Computer Works operates the fuel injected 5.0 ltr HO engine. Beautiful new stainless steel fuel tank with internal fuel pump. After the car was built it was sold to a man in Texas who only drove it for a short time then sold it to a man in New Jersey who was a older gentleman who let it sit in his garage for a few years and didn't drive it much at all. The last owner who we got it from locally purchased the car from him and had it since. The last owner had it repainted by a local shop who paints a lot of higher end hotrods. He said he had it painted not because it needed it but because he didn't love the color it was when he bought it. New chrome bumpers were added as well as power steering, power brakes and air- conditioning that blows cold air. The power steering is also adjustable and the new power rack-n-pinion is Mercury. The 4 wheel discs brakes are GM as is the tilt steering column. The car performs perfectly and has like new radial tires. It's last previous owner whom we got the car from stated he only put 1300 miles on the car so cosmetically and mechanically speaking its a very low millage hotrod. As a special feature the car is also equipped with special power windows that operate (from a secret location on the windshield) with a small magnet from the outside so you dont need locks. It also has a new stereo cd player. Car is very dependable.
