Description of 1926 Ford Model T |
1926 Ford Model T Hotrod ITEM RELISTED DUE TO NON PAYING BUYER......IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BUY, OR CANT PAY, DO NOT BID THE CAR. NEGATIVE FEEDBACK WILL RESULT IN BIDS BEING CANCELLED..... This is a classic East Coast hot rod build. The body and paint are excellent with the car painted in satin black, and both chopped and channed. Interior includes Dolphin gauges, chrome Ididit tilt steering column, aluminum bomber seats, complete carpeting, rat rod console, seat belts, tall Lokar shifter, complete door panels and roll up Lexan windows. Engine and drivetrain include a built 460 Ford BB (about 475 to 500 HP), Victor series aluminum intake, electric fuel pump, Holley 750 double pumper, aluminum water pump and timing chain cover, and a polished aluminum radiator. Exhaust is handled thru a set of Jet Hot coated Zoomie headers with custom baffles. Transmission is a built C6 automatic leading to a Ford 9 inch rear end with 3.08 posi traction. (I have a 3.73 ring and pinion set also). Frame is a custom built 1.75x3.00 steel boxed frame with a single buggy spring and shock front end and coil over rear suspension. The undercarriage of the car is perfect and detailed in satin black. Front brakes are vented disc with drum rears, and the car has a new master cylinder and proportioning valve. Trunk includes a built in battery box and a vented 16 gallon aluminum tank.It is also completely carpeted. Wheels and tires include Rocket wheels on all 4 corners with radial front tires and Towel City wide white recaps on the rear. All gauges, lights, blinkers, interior fan, and electrical systems work perfectly. the car tracks straight and handles well considering it hasmanual steering The car isextremely loud (although I have never been pulled over for noise issues) and very fast. Power to weight ratio is incredible. I'm 5' 10" and over 200 lbsand fit in it just fine. The car is a perfect "bar hopper" style rod that demands attention anywhere it goes.In fact, I was driving to a local show this summer and was pulled over by a local news truck who did a story on it on the spot. However, this car is not for the faint of heart. Its very loud, hard to see out of, and the ride is rough. You will know how smooth your streets really are after driving this car. If your looking for a Caddy like ride, this car ain't for you. Any questions feel free to call 801-628-9984. Ask for Eric |
