1990 Ford F-250 Lariat, XLT
This truck is a nice fixer upper.
We intended to restore it, but have recently gotten something newer. This truck runs and the four-wheel drive works, but it has transmission problems. It sometimes will not go into reverse or 1st gear, but when this is the case, you can start in 2nd, shift into third and go from there. Sometimes all of the gears work fine. Either way, it is driveable, but I would recommend putting it on a trailer or towing it for a long distance.
We recently put a new starter and solenoid on it and fixed some other minor issues.
Problems: Besides the finicky transmission, the AC doesn't work, but we have not tried to fix it. It has two gas tanks and one does not work. Doors don't lock. One window is a little sluggish rolling down.
Other than that, it's in good shape and to our knowledge everything else works. We take it for short drives regularly and keep it maintained. Nice interior!
It has a little rust on the body, which can be seen in the photos- some rusty areas were repaired with riveted sheet metal.

Would make a good work of farm truck for someone. It's in better shape than many we've seen at this age.
